Quit being What?!

Yesterday evening Aseem and Supriya were playing with the Mindstorms robot. Aseem had now been assigned the task of building "attachments" for the robot. They were playing and Aseem was alternately singing and making funny sounds. So Supriya yelled at him, "Aseem! Quit being a Snozzlefluffer!" In case you did not know, a Snozzlefluffer is someone who makes funny noises. Just making sure you stay current with today's yute...

This is a fun blog entry! Was this something Supriya made up on the spot of something she learned from another young person? Very creative and original. I love to encourage my daughter to play with language and she enjoys rearranging the magnetic letters on our refrigerator in new and unusual ways.

It was totally made-up on the spur of the moment! That's what amazed me.

Thanks for writing the comment. It makes me feel good that *somebody* is reading my blog (even though I have not posted there in a long time)...
